Once a week we highlight one photographer's top 9 Instagram photos.

This week's photos and captions are provided by @Savannahkaree.

At everdayfoto we want your story to be about more than just taking photos. Our intent is to connect the photos with your journey. We believe photography is about the people we're with while exploring; the places we visit; the overwhelming beauty of the outdoors; adventure and how we can see the world differently through our lens.

This week we take a look at @Savannahkaree photography and what inspires her and the story behind some of her favorites.

Lost Lake is a place that holds many memories. I love going camping here during the summer and watching the different scenes of Mt. Hood from sunrise to sunset.

Endless fields of purple - I had a lot of fun roaming the aisles of lavender and taking photos of my lovely friend. I may have gotten stuff by a bee while taking this photo, but it was a great day nonetheless.

I traveled to the iconic Samuel H. Boardman State Park this summer and although the weather conditions didn’t turn out as well as we had hoped, it was still such an amazing experience visiting this place with great company.

You call it Oregon, I call it home - I’ve seen quite a few pictures of this place, but there’s nothing like seeing a place with your own eyes, it was truly a remarkable experience.

Blue Pool is definitely one of my favorite places in Oregon. The name perfectly suits the place because at the end of the hike, you reach this glorious scene before you of a giant pool of clear, blue water — it’s simply a magical place.

I loved how this peaceful scene turned out. This photo was taken at Drift Creek Falls and I’ve come to admire the “folk” feel of this particular photograph between the simplicity of the plant and the colors.

One of my favorite things is watching the sunrise and experiencing those peaceful mornings where everything seems still.

"Dreaming of staying in a hideaway like this someday. I’ve always been fond of cute and cozy beach cabins such as this one."

If you fall in love with the journey, you will be in love forever. This photo was taken during a sunrise hike at Larch Mountain - it’s always worth getting up at the crack of dawn to watch the sunrise; they’re the little experiences in life we usually take for granted.
